Software Description
The !Trak-It extra-cost
resume Extract option gleans all vital information from resumes and
transfers it into the !Trak-It Applicant Tracking database. The source
of the resume can be an original paper hard copy, a fax, or a computer
generated version such as an email message or any .txt or .doc file.
!Trak-It Extract uses very sophisticated extraction technology to
precisely locate an applicant’s name and address, email, previous
employers with dates of employment, education, and skills. Resumes do
not have to be written in any predetermined format since !Trak-It
Extract works with most resume formats. The manual data
entry work is substantially reduced and many errors are eliminated. You
can use almost any scanner, preferably one with a sheet feeder, to
quickly read a stack of resumes since the extraction is done from a
text file. You no longer need to spend countless hours keying in
applicant data because now !Trak-It Extract will do it for you allowing
!Trak-It Applicant to be an
easy-to-use resume tracking software system.
Electronic resumes such as emails, pdf, doc files
and Monster.com are automatically recognized and processed by removing
the cover letter portion, saving it in a note field, and processing the
remainder as a resume. It can even detect if the file is not really a
resume.
In the craziness of recruiting there is always a chance that something
will fall through the cracks. With !Trak-It Applicant all you need to
do to have peace of mind is to enter a follow-up date on the
applicant's or requisition's note screen. When that date arrives you
will be reminded when you login about each candidate or requisition
that needs your attention, and it will stay on the list until you clear

Archived Data
Outdated or old applicant information can be easily transferred to a
secondary or archive database separate from your “active” applicant
data. Searches that are normally limited to the active applicant data
can also be made on the archived data.
Transfer to !Trak-It HR (HRIS)
When an applicant is hired, a simple menu selection by the user will
automatically transfer all relevant information into the !Trak-It HR Human Resource
Management System. !Trak-It HR is included in the Office Suite package
or can be purchased separately. All applicant information can be
exported to numerous formats via our built-in Report Writer insuring
compatibility with your HR software.
!Trak-It Applicant's extra cost Web option allows you to
dynamically publish your job openings on your web site and then
automatically receive resumes and job applications from the Web. As job
requisitions are created, the Web option allows you to specify if the
opening is to be published, under which category it is to be listed,
and the job description and job requirements to be published. This
option will give everyone who visits your site the opportunity to
instantaneously see your openings and apply for your positions. Once
set up by your IT department, you (or they) no longer have to maintain
the Web job l listings since it is done automatically for you. The cost
savings from this feature alone can pay for the cost of the system in a
short time.
