!Trak-It Applicant Tracking System
Web Interface
The !Trak-It Applicant extra-cost Web Interface provides a bridge
between interested applicants and your company. The interface may be
used with any web server for Windows NT, 2000, or XP that supports the
Windows CGI (WinCGI) specification.
Functions
Once installed on your web site, the !Trak-It Applicant Web Interface
displays your open requisitions on your web site to visitors and
accepts resumes from interested applicants through the Web.
Requisition DisplayThe Web Interface will display all
requisitions in your !Trak-It Applicant system that are flagged to be
displayed on the Web by the user. You may set which requisitions you
wish to publish by clicking on the Publish button on the Requisition
screen of the !Trak-It Applicant system and then clicking in the "OK to
Publish" checkbox on the Requisition Description screen. The Web
Interface will list the requisitions on the Web as follows:
- A listing of your job categories in which you have job openings (the category field on the Requisition screen).
- A listing of individual job titles in each category.
- Individual
job details, requisition description, and requisition requirements
fields. These fields may be updated by simply clicking on the Publish
button. If you like, you may include HTML style tags in these
descriptions for a more unique look specifically tailored for your
company.
Resume Submission
Interested applicants can automatically submit a resume into your
!Trak-It Applicant system using the !Trak-It Web Interface. An existing
resume that is suitable for import or a resume created by the Web
Interface resume maker may be submitted. All resumes gathered from the
Web are placed in a subfolder and are numbered sequentially in the
order they are received. To read them into !Trak-It Applicant, simply
direct the !Trak-It Extract option to that folder and it will process all the resumes
