Affirmative Action Plan (AAP)
Although !Trak-IT Applicant is not an Affirmative Action Plan software
system (or AAP), it does provide an easy-to-use tool to track all your
job applicants, including each individual's gender, race, and the EEO
job class for the jobs they apply for which you need to create your
Affirmative action or AAP reports. Each applicant is tracked throughout
the hiring process, automatically keeping a record of which jobs they
apply for, letters sent and recruiting status changes such as: applied
to interviewed, interviewed to offer and offer to hired (or rejected).
Each applicant is tracked even if they apply for multiple job openings.
Automate Data Entry Two Ways
To speed data entry, our system includes an extra-cost resume Extract option
that can extract pertinent data from reusmes and store it in our system
along with a text copy of the resume. There is also an Applicant
self-service option that can easily be integrated with your company's
web site, providing an on-line job application that includes applicant
questions on EEO race, gender and military background for your AAP
reports.
AAP ReportsOnce an applicant's data is in !Trak-It Applicant,
there are more than 100 standard reports, including 20 that are
specifically designed to assist you in your AAP or Affirmative Action
reporting requirements, such as:
- Adverse Impact - Applied vs. Hired
- Adverse Impact - Applied vs. Interviewed
- Adverse Impact - Applied vs. Offered
- Adverse Impact - Interviewed vs. Hired
- Adverse Impact - Interviewed vs. Offered
- Adverse Impact - Offered vs. Hired
- Applicant Analysis by EEO Class
- Applicant Analysis by Position
- Applicant Analysis by Recruiter
- Applicant Analysis by Source
Also included as a part of Applicant, is an easy-to-use export
capability allowing you to easily export data to a consultant's
software system for further processing and reporting.
Who Must File an Affirmative Action Plan (AAP)?If your
company is a Federal Contractor or Subcontractor with 50 or more
employees and you have a $50,000 contract (as either a Prime or a
Subcontractor) you are required to have an Affirmative Action Plan
(AAP) and report annually to the federal government's OFCCP -
Department of Labor regarding your hiring practices. You should have
consultants assist you in all aspects of your compliance with reports,
documentation, records keeping and statistical analyses pursuant to
Executive Order 11246 and OFCCP - Department of Labor regulations and
case law.
